This is one of my Sneakers No, they aren't Keds. I wanted them, but got these instead. Some kids called them maypops, I called them my sneakers. I always felt that I could run faster and jump higher when I wore these special shoes. I could also sneak around...very quiet like with these shoes. I used to practice being sneaky on the Marables front porch...but a creaky porch board always gave me away! I wore these shoes everyday. Except when I went to church. Then I wore my good shoes. My good shoes hurt my feet.
